putting textures into use

Wonder how to actually put my stuff into good use?
Since my textures varied more than other sites, you may find it weird and useless.

HOWEVER In this tutorial, I'm going to teach you to put together a simple poster which only consist of stuff you can get from here! (just to show you how effective they are, lol)

So here's a result of what it's going to look like.

I start with this picture of BoA, taken from the Boajjang forums. Then I duplicate it, blur it a bit, and change the mode to soft light. That's the easiest way to retouch.

Here's what you get after some retouch. Try not to over retouch, especially for normal picture. Since this picture is quite fantasy, I'll go a little overboard.

I take my cloud stock and apply it on the picture, changing the mode to hardlight.
Starting to see some different now?

Then I use this sepia texture on it and change the blending mode to linear burn then erase some part with fluffy earaser.

Take this rose, apply it on, earse overlaping area and change it to screen. If it looks too solid, play around with filter. I used filer>distort>ocean ripple in this example.
Now, I don't want to go overboard with this, so I start adding in more final details.

Tip: Use fluffy brush, using white color, to apply on area you want to make shiny (change the mode to overlay)
