Blending
a secret to every artworks

In order to make a good poster, you gotto know how to blend.
Now here's my basic to blending I'd like to show you before putting up the next and final poster tutorial.

Paste all the images you are blending into one canvas.

Choose the main one and adjust the rest to soft light. Move the images around to see where i'd fit nicely.

Adjust the mode back to normal. Now, start erasing the background by a circle eraser with fluffy ends. (It's a default brush)
Try to use a big size first, and when you finish with the corners and such, use magnetic lasso tool to cut of detailed background.

Now you may see that some parts had been faded down from the eraser.
Here's how you solve it:
Duplicate that image once or twice until it appears dark enough again.

Now you can see that some part can not be blend or cover by some reasons.
Use brushes, stock pictures, or text to cover it up.

Here are another tricks:
1. Merge the whole thing then set it to Gaussian Blur 10-40. The use the fluffy eraser to erase the upperpart and leave the bottom blur.
2. Flowers, they always work.
3. Just cover it up with white.
4. Just crop it out!

Merge them and retouch it, put on some text or more decorations. It's all up to you!!
